Although Deon initially painted in watercolors, over the years he has grown into an acrylic artisan. He applies his medium to canvas in a fluid technique, creating visual poetry.
Deon’s work consist of gentle, impressionist images in which caressing colors blend into shimmering, glimmering paintings emanating a flowing atmosphere. He achieves this effect with ultra-soft edges: seamless transitions from one subject to the next.
